Homage to the “Piercing Dress” from Thierry Mugler’s SS 98 collection with the amazing @nataliphantommodel2 In 1997, I watched the presentation of Thierry Mugler’s SS98 collection on FashionTV. The highlight of the show was a dress worn with incredible elegance and confidence by the model Erica van Briel. It was made of sheer black fabric and, instead of straps, was attached directly to Erica’s piercings. I couldn’t get it out of my head and wanted to use something similar to this outfit in a photoshoot one day.
